Our vision is to be a strong and welcoming Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star Chapter preserving our traditions while supporting our members and our community.
Our members proudly volunteer at the Deerfield Fair, staffing every gate and taking tickets. The funds raised through this effort are given back to support our local community.
Selling Christmas trees has long been a tradition of our Lodge. Our goal is not fundraising, but providing quality trees at a reasonable price for families in our community.
Our Masonic roots in Pittsfield go back to 1867.
The building we meet in has deep local history. The site was once home to Pittsfield Academy, which served the town’s students for decades. After the school closed, the property was donated in 1942 to Corinthian Lodge No. 82, Free and Accepted Masons, and it has remained a Masonic home in Pittsfield ever since.
Notable Member: Our Lodge counts among its members Hiram Americus Tuttle (1837–1911), a Pittsfield merchant. He first entered politics in 1860, serving as the town clerk of Pittsfield and went on to serve as the 43rd Governor of New Hampshire (1891–1893).
When Morrison Lodge No. 90 of Northwood lost its building to a fire, Corinthian Lodge No. 82 opened its doors to provide a place to meet and work together. The friendship and cooperation that followed led naturally to our decision to merge, forming Catamount Lodge No. 107.
We chose the name because of the mountain that divided us (Catamount) and the road that connected us (Route 107).
